Federchimica

Mifar is an associated company of Federchimica (Italian Federation of the Chemical Industry).

As a member, Mifar shares the primary objectives of the Federation, aimed at coordinating and protecting the role of the Italian chemical industry and its development. This is done by:

• creating economic, industrial, trade union guidelines, as well as guidelines in the areas of health, safety and environment, innovation, energy and logistics;
• promoting these policies with public authorities, national economic organisations, other business organisations, international organisations to whom the Federation belongs, trade unions, environmental and consumer organisations;
• contributing to the creation of an accurate image of the chemical industry in public opinion;
• carrying out studies and research that inspire and legitimise the business choices;
• supporting member companies in their growth.

Mifar operates on the European and world markets aligning and updating its activity with the requirements, policies and principles of the authoritative industry representatives, such as  European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) https://echa.europa.eu/it/home and The European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) https://cefic.org/
