The Mifar products comply with the various Italian and European regulations and standards.

Reach regulation

Regulation (EC) no. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

• It ensures a high level of protection of human health and the environment including the promotion of alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances.
• It establishes provisions for substances and mixtures.
• It requires manufacturers, importers and downstream users to manufacture, place on the market or use substances that do not harm human health or the environment. Its provisions are based on the precautionary principle.

CLP regulation

Regulation (EC) no. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008, on the classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures.

This regulation is based on the United Nations’ Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and aims to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment, as well as the free movement of substances, mixtures and articles.
